Solscan Token Reputation

The Solscan Token Reputation is designed to help users make informed decisions while interacting with tokens on the Solana blockchain. On the Token Details page, the information will be indicated as follows:

Reputation Not Classify

All tokens are defaulted to this reputation state. We are unable or cannot decide on the reputation score for the token.

Reputation Neutral

Neutral Reputation is determined when sufficient information about the project and the team is provided, ensuring transparency. The token’s information (including but not limited to name, logo, website link, and social links) should be provided and remain working actively. No significant “red flag” that we are aware of when the reputation is assigned.

The token should be listed on Coingecko (a major price aggregator platform).

Reputation OK

An OK Reputation is of Solscan’s own discretion (our own opinion) that the project has (either or a combination of the following criteria):

  • Is already eligible for 'Neutral' reputation.
  • Provided sufficient and accurate information.
  • Clear project goals and communication.
  • Visible profile of the project founders/backers/advisers.
  • The token is traded/listed on a major crypto exchange which has AML/KYC checks.
  • Achieved significant major milestones.

Reputation Scam

There have been substantial and credible reports of scam/phishing/fraud or misrepresentation of information related to this token that has not been adequately addressed and/or other 'red' flags.

Reputation Spam

There have been reports of spam activity related to this token (i.e. tokens that have been spam airdropped to wallets).

Which information will be displayed based on token reputation status?


For tokens with a ‘Not Classify’ reputation:

  • Token basic information including Name, Logo, and Current Supply will be displayed.
  • Other information such as Holder, Price, or Market Cap might be presented, but the data will not be up-to-date.
  • Information related to the project such as Website and Social links won’t be displayed.

For tokens with a ‘Neutal’ or ‘OK’ reputation:

  • Token information including but not limited to will be updated and displayed:
    • Name, Logo
    • Holder
    • Price, Market Cap, Current Supply
    • Website, Social Channels links (Coingecko, CoinMarketCap, Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Medium).

For tokens with a ‘Scam’ and ‘Spam’ reputation:

  • Token information will not be displayed. Instead, it will be presented as ‘SPL Token’ in general.
