We’re excited to launch a week-long mini-game on Etherscan during Devcon SEA 2024 🪷 titled Tap 2 Grow!

• End: November 18 20:00 (UTC+7)

A tap-to-earn game with a Devcon twist: all the rewards are matched 1:1 with a donation to plant trees.

Visit daily, answer our Devcon quiz, and complete tasks to grow your lotus 🪷 while climbing the leaderboard. Not only will you have the chance to win prizes, but you’ll also contribute to a tree-planting initiative, with donations made in your name.

How it Works

1. Open the Game Card: Go to the Cards tab of an address or simply this address.
2. Connect Your Wallet: Sign a message to identify your address and start playing.
3. Tap to Raise Your Score 🌳: Higher scores level you up and gets you climbing the leaderboard.
4. Energy ❤️: Each tap consumes energy, which gradually replenishes every 5 mins.
5. Boost ⚡: Answer our Devcon quiz (twice daily, refreshes at 6 AM and 4 PM UTC+7) and share your score to social media to activate score multipliers and bonus energy. Look out for new Devcon tasks we may introduce over the week.

What's at Stake?

• $2,000 USDC Prize Pool to start!
  • 50% of the pool goes to winners 🏆:
    • 1st place: 350 USDC
    • 2nd place: 150 USDC
    • 3rd place: 100 USDC
    • 4th place: 50 USDC
    • 5th place: 50 USDC
    • 6th-20th place: 20 USDC each
  • 50% of the pool is donated to a tree-planting charity and credited to the winners’ domain names or addresses 🌳🌳

Additionally, any funds sent to the game’s address will be converted and donated to the charity in the sender’s domain name or address. This includes funds sent on all 30 chains listed under the Multichain Portfolio tab of the address!

Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility: Open to all participants with a valid, signed Ethereum address.
2. Rewards: Winners will be announced on Etherscan's X account, and prizes will be sent directly to their Ethereum addresses.
3. Leaderboard: Players can check their ranking on the leaderboard, which is updated in real time (within a minute) based on their score.
4. Prize Pool Distribution: 50% of the initial prize pool goes to rewards and 50% to the tree-planting charity. The prize breakdown is subject to change should there be additional contributions.
5. Integrity: All participants must follow fair play rules. Fraudulent activity or attempts to manipulate the game will result in disqualification at the discretion of Etherscan.
6. Liability: Etherscan is not responsible for any technical issues or loss of funds during participation.

Other than celebrating Devcon and to show that we can have fun while doing good, it’s also to highlight the Etherscan Cards feature for third party developers!

Q: Why are you asking me to sign a message with my wallet address?
A: We’d like to credit you for the donation! Set up an ENS name if you’d like that credited, or we’ll simply list your address.

Q: I can’t sign a message with my wallet to play the game. Can you help me?
A: Some wallets may take time to load the sign message prompt. You can wait up to 10 seconds for the prompt, or try a separate wallet app.

Q: I shared my score on social media, where is my boost?
A: We will check and apply the ‘share on social’ boost in daily batches

Q: I like the initiative but don’t have time to play. How can I contribute?
A: You may chip in to the rewards by sending funds to the Tap 2 Grow address or help by simply sharing about it to your friends 😊
