With this feature, you are able to tag any transaction on the Ethereum blockchain with a private name tag for your personal reference (these name tags are only visible to you once you have logged in to your Etherscan account).
To access this feature, please refer to the steps below:

Login to your account here

Search for the transaction that you are looking to tag by pasting its transaction hash into our search bar

At the Transaction Details page, you will find a section in which you can enter the Private Note (see the highlighted section in the screenshot below)
- Type in the Private Note and just press Enter on your keyboard once you are done and the Private Note will then be saved (a notification will appear below the input box when the Private Note has been successfully saved)

Done. You have successfully added a Private Note to a transaction

To see a list of all the transactions that you have tagged, just simply hover over your Etherscan username on our website and click on Txn Private Notes (refer attached screenshot below)
- Here you can remove your Txn Private Notes or visit any one of the previously tagged transactions
