Etherscan Premium is an optional subscription that gives frequent users access to features that go beyond what we can sustainably offer for free, including higher limits, exclusive tools, and an ad-free experience.

What's included with Premium

Premium subscribers receive the following:

  1. Higher private name tag limit
    Tag up to 10,000 addresses to keep context as you explore, up from 5,000 on the free tier.
  2. Higher transaction private notes limit
    Annotate up to 20,000 transactions so nothing gets lost, up from 10,000 on the free tier.
  3. Address badge
    A custom badge displayed wherever your address appears on the explorer. Helps your address stand out and protects against address poisoning attacks.
  4. Ad-free exploration
    Read transaction details, token flows, and contract calls without noise from ad banners or sponsored placements—so you stay focused on the onchain data you came for.

How to subscribe

Premium is available in two billing options:

  • Monthly: $10.99/month, billed monthly
  • Annual: $8.25/month, billed $99/year (save 25%)

To subscribe:

  1. Sign in to your Etherscan account.
  2. Visit the Etherscan Premium page.
  3. Choose a plan then proceed to checkout. (Annual saves 25%)
  4. Once payment is confirmed, you'll receive an activation email and you can start using Premium right away.
  5. View your current plan and next renewal date on your Etherscan Premium dashboard.

Once your Premium subscription is activated, your badge appears next to your linked address wherever it's shown across the explorer, including transaction pages and token transfers. It helps your address stand out and protects against address poisoning attacks.

To link your address:

  1. Click the + Link Address button.
  2. Click Connect and Sign.
  3. Select a wallet to connect.
  4. Confirm the sign request from your wallet.

To unlink your address, click the Remove button next to your linked address.

Note: Your Premium badge is disabled if your subscription lapses. Resubscribe to enable it again.

Frequently asked questions

Is Etherscan still free?

Yes. Everything you use today stays free. Premium makes it possible to offer resource-intensive features to users who want them, while keeping the core explorer free and accessible for everyone. Free users will continue to receive new features over time too.

How can I cancel my subscription?

Please contact us should you wish to cancel your subscription. We will assist you accordingly. You retain Premium benefits until the end of your current billing period, after which your account returns to free.
